Meaning

Oh, Samajendragamini-having the gait of king elephant! You are benevolent.  Pray, lovely maiden, I am consumed by desire, pining for the love of my lord.
Oh, an Estimable and agreeable friend!  The pleasant days of the spring season have become worthless and wasted because the venerable Sri Padmanabha has abandoned me.
Oh, Madhupaveni-hair like the swarm of bees! I am afflicted in the night by the arrow-like rays emitting from the full moon, which reminds me of my youthful matchless lord.
A Swarm of bees is humming.
The cuckoo birds, perching on the tree are engaged in a warm embrace.
Alas! I alone remain still separated from my beloved.  Lord has largely left me helpless without any other resource than your help.
Friend! Please bring my virtuous lord unto me, who alone can remove all my anguish.  Please bring forth my charming and benevolent lord, whose lips are adorned with an everlasting sweet smile.  His words are as sweet as honey.
I cannot bear the weight of the flowery arrows of Cupid any longer.  My heavy bosom is pulsating uncontrollably like a slender creeper. Oh, my friend! Tell me, why the great lord is not coming to rejuvenate me and save me from withering away?
My friend! I request you to fulfill my heart's desire for the immediate company of my lord.  Just like the Cakora-the ruddy goose, I am helpless and frustrated by the pangs of separation.  Nothing in this life, even the sight of the bright morning horizon,  the cool breeze from the mountain carrying the fragrance of the morning flowers;  I swear, brings me solace and happiness.  Hence Oh Kamini! I entreat you to bring my lord, whose is the paragon of finest attributes, to me immediately.

Meaning

I meditate upon Sri Padmanabha, who is generous, the consort of Sridevi and Bhudevi
Your feet are sought after forever as a refuge by Siva and other celestials; the one with lotus-like eyes.  In my heart, I meditate upon.
Your very attractive form, is praiseworthy;  Your radiant smile resembles the jasmine buds;  Your recline on the serpent-bed;  You are adorned with shining weapons like the sword Nandaka;  Your face equals the moon; teeth like the crystals; vanquisher of the demon Mura and one who protects the devotees.  Destroyer of evils created by the wicked ones; one who protects the people; excels the clouds in beauty; adorned with the golden crown which dazzles with multiple gems; an embodiment of virtues; worshiped by Brahma;  your toe-nail shines like a crescent moon;  Your feet resemble the newly blossomed lotus.  Remover of the dreadful miseries of those who surrender and the supreme. being of the entire universe.
One who saved the king-elephant from the miseries; a refuge of ascetics who are desire-less; a very compassionate one in eagerly bestowing prosperity; the ultimate source for the adorable; effulgent with the golden ornaments; neck adorned with Vanamala;  You are the bestower of all the desired boons.  You held aloft the mountain Mandara.  Adorned with golden yellow attire, eyes like the sun and the moon;  You are like the serpent to the enemies who cause trouble to the world, having elegant thighs like the trunk of an elephant;  one who indulged in glorious, sacred incarnations, like Matsya, Kurma, Varaha, etc.  One who dispelled the wicked ones and supported the helpless.
One who burnt to cinders the wild fire-like worldly life; repose amidst the milky ocean; glorified by Narada and others;  blows away all the sins, just as the wind does to cotten.  Effluent like the shining pearl;  radiates with the pure crimson-hued Kaustubha;  worshiped by the people around; Your chest shines with the Srivatsa mark,  made by the touch of the feet of the sage Bhrgu (Re. Bhagavata-Dasamaskandha).  Seated on Garuda; hair with the fragrance of flowers like Parijata; lips that excels the reddish beauty of Bimba fruit; You hold the conch, lotus, etc. in your lotus-like hands.  The auspicious one; all the scriptures recite and expound that you have hundreds of faces.  Brahama who resides in the white louts that emerge from your illustrious lotus-like naval.  I meditate upon Sri Padmanabha.

Oh, beloved one with the form like Cupid! Do listen to me.
Oh, Padmanabha! Dar one! This is an apt time to enjoy.
Oh my, darling! My desires keep growing.  I am afflicted by the arrows of Cupid.  Please embrace me tightly and satisfy my desire.
Oh, Ambujamukha!  Make me happy with your sweet talk.
I keep seeing your lovely face in my mind.  This increases by longing for you. Oh, One whose effulgent form excels that of gold! Paragon of virtues! Do not be angry, oh one of jasmine bud-like teeth!
Even a few moments of separation from you appear as years! I prostrate at your feet, do come near me, quickly give your red lips and make me happy.  Oh, beautiful Lord!

Meaning

Oh, Lord!  I reflect upon your lotus feet, which are more tender than the divine creeper of bounty.
Oh, the sovereign of the universe!  You are attended upon by Siva and Brahma.  Oh lord of Rama!
The progenitor of Cupid!  You are the cause of the creation of this world consisting of the sentient and insentient.  Your form is beautifully dark like the Tamala leaf and praised by those who have conquered their senses.  You remove the miseries of the celestials.  Your feet are the only refuge for the people.  You are worshiped by all beings of the universe.  You are the repository of all that is beautiful.  Your glory is extolled by a host of eminent seers.  Oh, the suzerain of the earth!  You reduced the burden of the world.  Paragon of virtues, you saved the elephant, Gajendra.  You are the redeemer who helps us to cross this fierce of an unfathomable ocean of existence.  You annihilate adroitly the formidable hordes of enemies.
Your eyes are like autumnal lotus.  You have Garuda as the mount.  Oh, brave Lord!  Protector of the cattle in Vrndavana! Distinguished son of the sacred family of Sura.  Your handsome form is smeared by sandal paste.  Oh, Mukunda! You are adorned with diamonds and other gems.  Oh, the gem of the Yadu clan! You have mighty and incomparable beautiful arms.  You vanquished the fierce and angry Bhauma-the Narakasura.  You are the ocean brimming with compassion.  You are adorned with garlands.  You are to the wicked what a great fire is to the forest.  Oh, consort of Lakshmi!  You are adorned with golden yellow robes.
You are seldom attainable by those who are wicked.  You gave courage to Indira.  Most handsome Lord! You sport is your hands a discuss, a mace, a conch, and a lotus.  You are very benevolent, engrossed in playing the flute.  Your teeth shine like brilliant mirrors.  Your lips are red like the hibiscus flower.  Your dark tresses resemble the clouds.  Your words are sweet like ambrosia.  Oh, son of Vasudeva! You enchant everyone with a sweet smile.  Destroyer of the arms of Banasura, You are the abode of bliss.  Oh, Lord Padmanabha! Your face resembles a fully blossomed lotus
