Oh, handsome Lord!  Why are you so impetuous to me?
Will I be able to withstand all these?
I am still an adolescent.  I still have not seen manhood.  Is it right on your part to go without seeing me?  Do not dilly-dally with me.  Oh Lord, there is no need to be fair in the game of love.
Our minds have united.  Is it fair to be inconsiderate?  Should you do this to me?  Please listen to me, oh Lord, and stop all these pranks.

My beloved's form is shining like gold.  When will he assuage my affliction caused by Cupid?
Oh, a friend with a voice like bees!  When will he come and put an end to my misery this moonlight causes?
when will he satisfy me by embracing me and smearing my bosom with sandal paste?
the songs of parrots and cuckoo increase my longing.
When will he be with me kissing me on this bed of tender leaves?
When will Sri Padmanabha, of dark form like rain-bearing clouds, come and be with me?
When will he give up deceit and remove my sorrow with sweet words?

Meaning

Oh Golden hued damsel!  Why is it that I am the most unfortunate amongst the maidens here?
I am very frustrated because I am consumed by the desire to be with Lord Abjanabha, the paragon of virtues.  However, I am unable to find a way to satisfy my intense wish.
Oh, Sitabhanuvadane-one whose face resembles the cool moon! just as Cataka-brid waits for the droplets of rain to quench its thirst-I too wait for craving for the lord of my life.  I am ever filled with the thought of the lord who resembles Cupid.  I have lost my seep as I am pining for his company.  What shall I do now?
Oh, Vanajakshi-lotus-eyed! Many a day has passed wastefully.  My bosom is drenched with copious team and is without any garlands. 
Oh, Dear Kamini! somehow make my beloved understand my misery.  Oh, Matangagamini having the gait of an elephant.  Do not delay any longer but bring Him to me it is a beautiful night itself.

Meaning

O Lord of Gauri!  Remove my anguish and give me joy.  You wear the hide of elephants.  Remove the sins done by me in earlier births.  You are an expert in performing the Tandava dance. You give boons to Arjuna who had the Gandiva bow.
You are without blemish, and your speech is like nectar.  Your ornaments are serpents.  You punish the wicked and you are worshiped by Brahma and Indra.  You have an upright blue neck.  Your form is a lovely red.
You fulfill the desires of the devotees. You wear the crescent moon.  You destroy the Asuras.  You give salvation from the worldly life.  Your eyes are the sun and the moon.  You are accompanied by the Bhuta Ganas and you are worshiped by Padmanabha.
