Meaning

Oh, Lord! Why this indifference towards me?  Please come fast and delight me.
Oh My Lord Padmanabha! Why this inordinate obstinacy?
What is the reason for your anger towards me?  The other ladies, what have they taught you?  I am not able to tolerate this separation.
Every minute is passing like a millennium - Yuga.  Why do you have no mercy towards me?
All the ladies are laughing at me and I believed that you are my only Lord.
The moon has become like fire for me.  Oh, Padmanabha!  You are more handsome than Cupid.  Please meet me and embrace me.

Meaning

Today all my fortune has delightfully materialized.  I hope this will continue always.
It is due to the presence of my lord, my beloved Sri Padmanabha reclining on the king serpent.
Ever since childhood I had the pleasure of my ears being filled with your nectarine great exploits, which made me feel that you belonged to me., oh one with a beautiful form like Cupid! Having beheld your lotus-like face then, my desire for you has increased twofold ever since.  Oh my, beloved!  You are too young damsels what sun is to lotus!
It is the result of my good deeds done in the previous birth that my lord has come near me and removed all my miseries forever at once.  I do not have any other refuge than you on earth.  So Lord! the paragon of virtues, oh noble one! consider my plight and come at once.  Oh, one with an effulgent form like gold!
Oh my lord! please come and embrace me tightly;  give your reddish lips to me and remove my anguish.  Oh my, darling!  The arrows of Cupid are annoying me and I have become dependent on you.  Kindly come to me without delay, oh the abode of compassion!

Meaning

Who is capable of describing the beauty of the Indra Vahana, in which the lord, the beloved of Indira shines?
Even the lord of serpents-Adisesha - who has a thousand tongues will become tongue-tied if he dares to describe this!
Even for the king of Hehaya (Karttavirarjuna), who has a thousand hands, it is beyond his capacity to write about this!
Even Indra, who has a thousand eyes is not capable of having a full glance of this!
With an incomparable effulgence, this Vahana, which is the noblest in the three worlds, dazzles the others!
It is indeed, nothing but the greatest fortune to worship the feet of Lord Padmanabha, and outshines the others!

Meaning

Oh Indumukhi-the moon-faced! Listen to me and reduce my longings.
When will Sri Padmanabha, whose form is beauty personified, come to me by himself and sport with me?
Oh, Sarasavadane- lotus faced!  Please tell my darling, the story that I  am afflicted by the arrows of Cupid and losing courage.  I am in deep distress while seeing the best hovering on the flowers and listening to the music of cuckoos.  I keep expecting him with a heavy heart to come to me. Oh, Kamini!
I have no refuge.
She is in agony like the Nipa flower (which will blossom only in the rainy season) expecting the rain-bearing clouds, she keeps waiting, with trembling eyes and with fear in her mind!
She with her distress recollects the most tender lotus feet of her Lord at night.
What is more to tell about the flow of nectar-like compassion of yours, the louts like hands of yours, and the virtuous glory of yours? Oh, beloved one!
Oh, the one who has the gait of a king elephant!  With all the greatness and charms of such an effulgent one of my darling, an expert in the amorous sport, residing in the matchless abode of yours, as sung by the like-minded poets, how far she became dependent with the intimacy with him, though he is the king and the winner of the confidence of the entire society, oh my Kusalini- one who brings auspiciousness! have no other refuge. Oh, my dear girl!  You should absolve my sufferings; oh my friend! please remember my deep agony and you will always be like the ring on my finger.

 Meaning

Oh, Manini-the noble one!  The feelings of longing are ever-increasing!  What shall I do now?
The interest Sri Padmanabha had in me, seems to have diminished. Oh, Tandar Saranilaye- the personification of cupid!
Oh, Moon faced! Now the Cupid is shooting spear-like arrows on my bosom.  Oh, my friend!  After captivating my heart with great skill, now he betrays me. I had enough of it, is he justified in doing this?
Oh, Padmadaratna!  Even dressing up charmingly is a burden to me because of my yearning for my beloved.  Oh, Kilimozhi!  Even in my dreams, I had no ill feelings for him, mind you?  Oh, Manini!
Go at once to my beloved and tell him all about my feelings.  If only my husband has a little sympathy for me, will he now delay coming to me?
