Meaning

Most beautiful beloved, what wrong have I done to you?
Oh lord, Sarasanabha! the serene ones serve you.
The moon has risen showering red-hot embers on me.  Padmanabha!, how shall I endure the agony today?
Does Cupid have a hundred darts for me? Will you not be kind to me?  Must I suffer even more?  Is this discord worthy of you?
Soon embrace me close to your bosom.  Grant the nectar of thy lips and remove my pangs with honeyed words.

Meaning

Oh, Kilimozhi - parrot-like voiced!  Go to my beloved and tell him my miseries.
Oh Kadarakshi! I feel fagged out!  Oh Tarunimani! Oh Ramaniya Gunavasati! Calamizhi!
The moon is rising up and causing immeasurable miseries in my heart! The cool breeze, alas! is creating deep sorrow in my mind.
Oh, Sobhanangi! Siva! Siva!! In my heart I thought, He the Cupid will come to me full of passion.  Oh, my dear! Explain to him my lovelorn state of mind and bring him to me to make me happy.
Oh, the full moon-faced! Remember, that I have been engulfed with miseries for a long time.  That son of Vasudeva, worshiped by Indra and other celestials, I thought he will come and will become my husband.

Meaning

Oh, May Goddess Saraswathi,  the mother of this world!  Be victorious! May, Goddess Bhavani, who is also Sarvani, who bestows good fortune o the three worlds be victorious.  Your sport is infinite and incomprehensible to all.
She holds in her lotus-like hands Veena, from which mellifluous music emerges all the time.  She sports in the other hand a book from which Vedas and Upanishads took form.
Oh, Goddess! You are the embodiment of knowledge and the celestials and devotees sing your glory.  You give happiness to the humble worshipers of the lotus-like feet of Lord Padmanabha.  Oh, Goddess unto you.
