Meaning

I pray to Raghurama, the crown among the kings.
One who has a glowing form like the blue lotus and is the most sacred.
You destroyed Ravana the brother of Kubera, just as the fire destroys dense forest.  You are adorned with attire that shies like molten gold.  You have eyes like lotus and have the glory of being worshiped by ascetics like Sanka.  You have a form like Cupid and you are pure.
Oh the ocean of compassion! Your lotus feet have the glory re-animating Ahalya the consor of the great sage.  The protector of celestials, your teeth are like jasmine buds.  You, the supreme Lord indulged in sporting with the daughter of earth - Sita.
You are the gem of the Sun dynasty; immaculate in character; skillful in eliminating all impurities.  Your beautiful face which equals the moon - the close friend of lily flower.  You are effulgent like lotus and radiant like the clouds.

Meaning

Oh, Kalamozhi - a voice like honey! please look!  This night has gone just a waste.
Don't take the coaxing words of the lotus-eyed Sri Padmanabha as a joke, there will be some reason, I am sure.
When the cows, birds, and other animals too enjoy with their mate, it is my bad luck that I have to be alone with my pangs of love for him.
Alas! Hoping that he will come and happily sport with me, I have decorated the bedroom and scented flowers.
Will he be sporting with some other lucky girl!  Oh, my dear lady! Please tell him my feelings and bring him to me.

Meaning

Without a cause there can be no action, that too ordained by lord Kanjanabha.
Your form is gorgeous and blue like the ocean.  You are the remover of the miseries of your multifarious devotees.
Oh the Lord of the Universe! Karma - action is the cause for birth;  the cause of knowledge is learning; cause of ego is wealth; young damsels cause enticement; deviation from the right path causes destruction.  Worries cause ailments, righteousness causes true wealth.
Seed is the cause of tree; valor is the cause of victory;  abject poverty reduces one to supplicate before the wicked;  virtuous conduct results in compassion; fickleness causes many a difficulty in this world.
Controlling the mental and physical senses is the direct result of following the scriptural injunctions; the timely rain is the cause of all vegetation; the sun is the cause of removing darkness; oh beloved of Rama! Lotus eyed Lord! your feet are the sole cause of my happiness.
