Meaning

Oh, Mother!  You are transparent like the full moon!  Always protect me.
You give all prosperity and destroy the mighty and cruel Canda and Munda.
You are the daughter of Himavan; give me well-being.  You wear the crescent moon and are infinitely gracious.  Your eyes are dark like rain clouds.  Your conduct is lovely.  You wear on your forehead the mark of sandal paste.  You are the spouse of Nilakantha and you are the female elephant sporting in the forest of Vedas.
Your locks shine with fragrant flowers.  Oh! giver of boons, your feet are worshiped by Indra and others.  Your lips are red like the Japakusuma hibiscus.  Your smile is effulgent like the lily.  You are the Kalpaka creeper to your devotees.
Your form is exquisite.  You reside in Kanyakubja.  Your remove all the mass of sins.  You dwell in the tranquil hearts.  Your garlands are most pure and attractive.  Your hair is dark as the rain clouds.  You are the sister of Sri Padmanabha.

Meaning

Lord Siva dances to the syllable "dhrkttom dhrkttom"
He is always spotless in form; bestows auspiciousness and knowledge to the depends who worship in the evenings at sandhya.
With gem studded anklets in his legs sounding "ghana ghana" and worshiped with reverence by Indra and others and nodding to the sound of the flute.
One who delights in the sound of "dumu dumu" played in the Damaruka by Nandikesvara; one who is surrounded by celestial damsels fanning with Camaras and the one who is adorned with a crescent moon.
One whose feet are worshiped by sages devoid of sin; one who is the consort of lord Padmnabha sister;  one who is skillful in dispelling the miseries of the hapless; one who opposed Yama and is among the host of virtuous ones.

Oh, mother of the universe!  grace me with your glance from your lotus-like eyes.  Kindly protect me.
You are the daughter of the ocean.  Give me happiness and give me the chance to serve you.  Oh, Rame the repository of beauty!
Your face is lovely like the autumnal moon.  You shine with glowing jewels.  You are worshiped by Rishis like Narada, Saunaka, Gautama, Agastya and Kausika.  You give abundant happiness to those who bow at your lotus feet.  You are flawless and you are full of excellence.
You shine with your lovely smile.  Your crescent moon-like forehead is framed by curly locks.  Your gait is like that of an elephant king.  Your garment mocks at gold.  Always live in my heart.  You protect the Yadava dynasty.  Your bosoms are lovely like golden jaws.  The garlands your wear have no equal.  You are the root cause for all desires.  You are Kamal. Your delight Hari.
Your beauty has no equal.  You are the Kalpaka tree to your sincere devotees.  You are Ambika.  Your feet shine from the radiant crowns of those noble ones who bow at them.  You are the goddess of the three worlds.  Your nose excels in beauty, the sesame flower.  You are the spouse of Padmanabha.  Your curly locks are dark like fresh rain clouds.  Your dwell in lotus.  You are full of compassion.  Your glory is sung by Rishs who encompass you.

Meaning

Oh, Hari! God of gods! I always depend upon you.
You are Padmanabha residing in the city of Anantapura.
I am a refugee who has fallen into the ocean of birth and death which is boundless.  Looking at me, who is thus suffering, does compassion not rise in your heart? I do not know what is good and what is evil!  I am like an infant.  How can the father neglect the child?  You are the support of the hapless.  Oh, Padmanabha! Give me happiness.
