Meaning

Oh, Sambo!  Always protect me!  You are the ocean of the essence of compassion. Oh, Samba!
One who has the lotus feet, worshiped by the celestials like Indra and others. One who is eternal.
Oh the divine manifestation, adorned by serpents! One who is worshiped and glorified by sages like Narada. One who has nectar-like speech; the one who dissolves the afflictions of the devotees; having a lotus-like face and is the embodiment of good virtues.
Beholder of the trident in the hand, one who sports the radiant and beautiful oxen as the mount one who banishes the skillful enemies of the celestials.  One whose form dissolves the afflictions of the entire world.
One who delights in the mountain of Kailasa.  One how decisively banished the consort of Rati (the cupid).  One who protects all the three worlds; one whose forehead is effulgent with the crescent moon; one who delights with the sister of Lord Padmanabha.

Meaning

Oh, dear friend! Go at once! Tell my beloved about my anguish.
I wonder, which girl is blessed today to enjoy the company of Sri Nirajanabha, the suzerain of the world?
Oh, Carutarangi (having a charming form). I am like a Cataka bird, fervently waiting for my beloved, the one as beautiful as Cupid, to come and enjoy with me.  Oh, friends with moon-like faces!  Since I am constantly thinking in this vein, I am languishing!
Because of the target of Cupid's arrows, my mind is wavering.  AS I have lost my confidence, even the cool rays of the moon torture me like fire produced from lighting.  Alas! Do help to lessen my sorrows.  Oh, Krstanulatike (having a slender body like a creeper).Enough of this talk, oh one with doe-like eyes! Alas! for many days I am suffering due to loneliness.  Why are you keeping quiet?  I have fallen into this ocean of separation and all my senses are confused!

Oh, Goddess Parvathi!  Please protect me always.
You dwell in the lotus hearts of eminent sages.  You are Gauri, who is skillful in destroying the evils of existence.
You are ruthless in subduing the cruel and proud ones.  You bestow good fortune on all those who worship your lotus feet.  You have the glory of being worshiped by a host of celestials with great reverence and joy. Your gait is like that of a King elephant.  Your presence weakens the enemies.  Please dwell in my heart.
You possess rich tresses like dark clouds.
You sport fierce and formidable weapons
You destroyed the demons like Mahisa and are worshiped by all sages.  Your innumerable hands pervade everywhere.
You are the consort of Siva who subdued the pride of Cupid;  the sagacious sages, who have conquered ignorance hold you in great esteem. Oh, supreme one with pure and noble virtues!  You are adept at bestowing boons.
You, the one who is surrounded by Brahma,  and other celestials and whose tender feet are held in high esteem by a host of ascetics;  do grace me with a glance from your doe-like eyes.  Your form is exquisitely beautiful. Please destroy all my miseries and relieve me of my sorrows.  Oh, the immaculate one!  Oh Goddess with rich tresses like dark clouds, you are adept in dispelling all difficulties.  Oh, sister of Varijanabha!  You are adorned with a gorgeous pearl necklace.

Meaning

That beautiful girl is angry. She is equal in every aspect to the venerable goddess Lakshmi.
Oh immaculate lord Ambojanabha!  I am the slave of you.  Oh, Lord!  She is yearning for you always!
She always follows the path of ethics and is without any blemish.  She will never error from the righteous path.  I don't even deserve to be looked at by her.  She does not know about her own capabilities.  her gait is majestic like a youthful elephant.  Don't you pine for her as dictated by your mind?  You are pleased in the company of Kubera and Shiva.
Oh, Damodara! I know you!
Oh, handsome one!  Do listen to my narration!
Oh, one whose feet resemble the reflection of the moon on a gem-studded mirror.  Oh Supreme Lord!  You ride on Garuda.  Please tell me.
Oh, a repository of compassion!  Madhava!  Ocean like a lord! Indeed, your manifestations are many.  Where are going now?  You remove all the temporal pleasures.  You are great like Himalaya!
Oh, one with a majestic gait!  Just as the lotus turns away from the moon, the eminent sages spurn the worldly passions and attain your feet, you bestow upon me that place attained by such sages.  Now leave me alone.  You have Garuda as a mount.  You are an expert in deceiving.  You are the destination of virtuous people.  Please redeem me from being bound by transient worldly pleasures and the fruits of actions.  Oh, the personification of all scriptures!  How come you are so merciless?
Oh, Damodara!  I know your intentions.  Why is your visage shows unhappiness?
